- The generated private key is not encrypted with your passphrase. After saving, the OS privileges are readable only by the owner (e.g.
chmod 600). - Generating OpenSSH private keys with passphrases, loading existing keys, FIDO/U2F keys, certificates, and DSA keys are not supported.
- We recommend the latest versions of Chrome, Edge, Firefox, and Safari that support the Web Crypto API and Ed25519. If Ed25519 is not supported, please select RSA.
